Ferrer stated, “I will always hold immense gratitude and love for Axl [Rose] and the entire band, while simultaneously feeling disappointed that this chapter has come to a close. Having joined the band in 2006, Ferrer became one of Guns N’ Roses’ longest-serving members after the departure of Bryan “Brain” Mantia, who left to spend time with his wife and newborn baby. Ferrer’s initial tenure was intended to be temporary, designed to last just two weeks, but his exceptional performance led to a lasting role.

Reflecting on his unexpected journey, Ferrer shared with My Global Mind earlier this year, “It was only supposed to be a short stint. However, I felt that if I could excel, even in that brief period, it could pave the way for numerous opportunities.” His dedication and passion for music shone through as he took on a significant responsibility during a pivotal time for the band.

He further recalled, “Brain had just welcomed a new baby, and he felt it was best to stay home with his partner. Axl and the band were pleased with my contributions.
