The show begins with Fujii dramatically emerging from the stands, sparking a wave of cheers from the audience. He gracefully descends the stairs near the audience, making his way to the grand piano situated on the grass at the center of the arena. The visuals also effectively capture the genuine expressions of surprise and delight on the faces of the audience, enhancing the emotional depth of the performance.

The elaborate stage design resembled a theme park, complete with a stairway, bridge, and garage adorned with lush vegetation. Fujii’s vision of evoking a sense of nature was meticulously realized by Yamada, who attended to every detail, including the soil texture and small objects within the garage. A massive LED screen positioned behind the stage showcased breathtaking images of cityscapes and skies, effectively merging with the on-stage layout to create a cohesive and immersive world for the audience.

The performances by the dancers were equally remarkable. Notably, Fujii and his dancers executed perfectly synchronized choreography during songs like ?Kirari? and ?Kiri Ga Naikara? in the middle of the show. While Fujii is renowned for his piano virtuosity, his dance performances further demonstrate his dynamic star power and versatility as an entertainer, captivating the audience with every move.

The hitmaker of ?Nan-Nan? expresses in the documentary that the guiding theme for this concert is ?youth? (seishun). He shared this fresh energy with the 70,000 fans in attendance through live renditions of songs like ?Seishun Sick,? which featured a lively performance with his dancers swaying arm-around-shoulder. Additionally, an exhilarating punk rock rendition of ?Tabiji? was another highlight that energized the crowd and showcased his innovative approach to music.

While the visual elements captured in the Blu-ray discs approach perfection, the audio recording on the accompanying CD immerses fans in the authentic live performance experience. The talented band members include Yaffle on keyboards, who serves as the bandmaster, TAIKING from Suchmos on guitar, Naoki Kobayashi on bass, Norihide Saji on drums, Takashi Fukuoka on percussion, and ARIWA from ASOUND and Emoh Les on backing vocals. Notable highlights from the live arrangements include the funky, danceable beat of ?MO-EH-YO (Ignite)? and the rich vocal harmonies of ?Shinunoga E-Wa,? both of which showcase the band’s exceptional musicality.

Reflecting on the past year, Fujii has embraced numerous challenges and successfully navigated them all. From May to June, he embarked on his inaugural headlining tour in North America, titled Fujii Kaze and the Piano U.S. Tour, where he sold out shows in both Los Angeles and New York. Following this, from October to December, he toured ten cities in Asia with his Best of Fujii Kaze 2020-2024 ASIA TOUR, concluding with a triumphant finale that left fans exhilarated.

In 2024, Fujii released two new singles, including ?Michi Teyu Ku (Overflowing),? the theme song for Tomokazu Yamada‘s debut feature film April Come She Will, which marked his fifth track to achieve 100 million streams in Japan. Additionally, he released the A. G. Cook-produced single ?Feelin? Go(o)d? in July.
