The Broadway group is mourning the lack of a brilliant star, Gavin Creel.

The Tony winner died Sept. 30 at his Manhattan residence following a battle with metastatic melanotic peripheral nerve sheath sarcoma, a uncommon and aggressive type of most cancers, which he was identified with in July, in response to The New (*48*) Times. He was 48.
