The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater group is in mourning.

Kara Welsh, a 21-year-old administration pupil and a member of the college’s Warhawk gymnastics staff, was fatally shot in an residence off campus by a person she knew, Whitewater Police stated. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of homicide. 

The police stated in a press release that Aug. 30, simply earlier than midnight, officers arrived on the scene in response to a report of a gunshot sufferer and located Welsh deceased with a number of gunshot wounds.
