Mark Henry Shares Insights on Hulk Hogan’s Reception at WWE Raw Premiere

Following the video’s resurgence in 2015, Hogan issued an apology to People, stating, “It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it.” This acknowledgment was an attempt to address the damage done by his past words, but many fans remain skeptical of his sincerity.

Hogan further stated, “This is not who I am. I strongly believe that every person in the world deserves respect and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs, or otherwise.” Despite this declaration, Henry believes that Hogan did not take sufficient steps to rectify the situation.

“He never wanted to move forward and truly fix it,” Henry remarked. “That’s a common mistake—thinking that everything will simply fade away. The reality is, it doesn’t just disappear.” This perspective reflects a belief that accountability is crucial in the face of past mistakes, especially for someone in the public eye.
