Jessica Jones Return: Krysten Ritter Says ‘Let’s Do It’
Fans have been eagerly anticipating the return of Krysten Ritter to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), and following her recent statements, it appears that Ritter is just as enthusiastic about the possibility.
Krysten Ritter’s Exciting Comments on Returning as Jessica Jones in the MCU
In a recent interview with ComicBook while promoting her role in the highly anticipated Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Ritter was informed about remarks made by Marvel Studios’ Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation, Brad Winderbaum, during the D23 Brazil event. Winderbaum expressed his desire to see Jessica Jones make a comeback in the MCU, igniting excitement among fans and the actress alike.
Ritter enthusiastically embraced the idea, quipping that Winderbaum is “the guy who makes the call.” She expressed her readiness, indicating that she would jump at the chance to reprise her role if Marvel decided to reach out. “Brad Winderbaum said that? That’s really exciting to hear. Isn’t that the guy who makes the call?” Ritter remarked. “Come on, Brad! Let’s get it going. Let’s do it. I’ll be ready.”
This isn’t the first instance where Ritter has shared her desire to return to the iconic character. Two years ago, during an engaging appearance on the podcast Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum, she expressed her hope to once again portray Jessica Jones. “I have no idea,” Ritter confessed. “I hope so! I think that people love Jessica, I know because I live it. Honestly, I don’t know…Marvel is so secretive, I am just putting that out there that, of course, I would be there in a second. I would have my boots and jacket on, ready to rock.”
