On Friday, November 29, Kramer shared the closure news through a heartfelt message posted on the coffee brand’s official website. In his announcement, he expressed that there was “no realistic alternative” to shutting down the business, highlighting the challenges faced in recent years.

“To all of Rockin’ & Roastin’s loyal subscribers and my fellow coffee aficionados – it is with profound sadness that we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of Rockin’ & Roastin’ Coffee,” the emotional message conveyed.

After enduring years of challenges, including a struggle to recover from the devastating effects of COVID-19, rising operational costs, and the heartbreaking loss of his wife, Linda, Kramer stated that there was simply no viable option left but to close the business. The emotional toll of these events weighed heavily on him.

Kramer concluded his post by reassuring customers that all orders received up until Saturday, November 30, would be fulfilled, but he emphasized that no new orders would be accepted after that date. This announcement highlights the end of an era for Rockin’ & Roastin’ Coffee and its dedicated fanbase.

Launched in 2012, Rockin’ & Roastin’ Coffee was born from Kramer’s experiences on the road as a touring musician, where he often encountered poor-quality coffee. His passion for coffee led him to create a brand that aimed to provide a superior product that would elevate the coffee experience for fans around the world.

“I embarked on a mission to refine my coffee journey and become an expert in the field,” Kramer shared. “I was determined to create a blend that would satisfy even the most sophisticated coffee lover.” This commitment to quality and flavor became the hallmark of his brand.

“Through extensive research (I might just be an honorary chemist by now), countless tastings, and global exploration, my vision for Rockin’ & Roastin’ Coffee came to life. The result? In 2013, Kramer’s venture into the coffee industry expanded with a partnership deal with a major hotel chain, and by 2016, he opened the Rockin’ & Roastin’ Cafe in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, roughly 40 miles from Aerosmith’s hometown of Boston. This café became a local favorite, drawing in coffee lovers and fans alike.

This announcement comes on the heels of Aerosmith revealing their retirement from touring, following Steven Tyler’s ongoing vocal cord injury, signifying a challenging period for the legendary band.

“We’ve witnessed him struggling despite having the most skilled medical team available,” the band shared in an early August social media message. “It’s become evident that a full recovery from his vocal injury is unattainable. As a united band of brothers, we’ve made the heartbreaking yet necessary choice to step away from the touring life.”

Aerosmith expressed gratitude towards their dedicated crew and team, concluding their message with heartfelt appreciation for their fans. “A final thank you to you – the most amazing fans in the world.
