Christina Haack is preparing herself for what appears to be a lengthy and challenging divorce process.

Nearly six months after the star of Christina In the Country and her estranged husband, Josh Hall, initiated their divorce proceedings, it has become evident that they are still far from reaching any final settlement.

“Not even close,” Christina remarked during her appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live on January 12. “We’re headed for trial, from what I understand. He’s not interested in mediation. It’s going to be an interesting experience. I’m looking forward to it.”

The HGTV personality, who married Josh in October 2021, also expressed her concerns about the financial implications, stating that she expects to cover her ex-husband’s attorney fees.

“They haven’t mandated it yet, but he’s been requesting it,” Christina elaborated. “I’ve already had to contribute a bit.”

At 41 years old, she expressed skepticism about how Josh, who is 44, manages his finances during their separation.

“I provided him with money for living expenses, yet he went out and purchased a Bentley, despite not having a job,” she commented about the realtor, who is slated to appear alongside her on The Flip Off. “But he’s driving around in a Bentley, so I can only assume he’s attracting a lot of attention from women.”
