I swerved to avoid a head-on collision, hit the divider, and then crashed into a tree. Although I’m hurt and bruised, I am incredibly thankful to be alive! I did receive several citations, one unrelated to the incident which is understandable, but I was shocked that the car that almost hit me just drove away! I want to emphasize that it’s crucial to be aware of your emotional state while driving, and may this serve as a reminder to everyone to buckle up. My mother may be my Guardian Angel, but my seatbelt saved my life.”
