Kids’ Health Battle: Kelly Stafford Shares Hospitalization Experience
Kelly Stafford Provides Insight on Her Children’s Health Crisis Ahead of Husband Matthew Stafford’s Game
Kelly Stafford is facing challenges, but she remains resilient and hopeful.
In a heartfelt update, she revealed that two of her four daughters with Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford were recently hospitalized, shedding light on their alarming health struggles amid the persistent L.A. wildfires. This situation has been particularly distressing for the family, as they navigated a difficult period of illness.
During the January 15 episode of her Morning After podcast, she candidly described their experiences, stating, “We were battling the flu over here.” She shared that she was confined to bed for a significant 48 hours, illustrating the severity of their condition. The flu’s impact on the family was profound, highlighting the challenges they faced.
As the Rams prepared for their January 13 home game against the Minnesota Vikings, which had to be relocated to Glendale, Arizona due to the wildfires, Kelly was grappling with her children’s illness. The team and their families were flown in for the game, but Kelly expressed her hesitation about traveling. “We were sick on that flight,” the 35-year-old explained. “And there was a huge guilt factor to me going, ‘Should we be on this plane right now?’ Because of everyone surrounding us and everyone who has to play this game.” This reflects her deep concern for the health of her family and the well-being of others.
