Kiss’ Vegas Show with Sebastian Bach, Tommy Thayer & More

The iconic rock band Kiss has revealed an exciting lineup of special guests for their highly anticipated Kiss Army Storms Vegas convention and reunion show. This event will feature not only additional band members but also renowned rock artists and industry professionals who played a significant role in propelling the band to legendary status.

Principal members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley will be joined by the longtime Kiss lead guitarist Tommy Thayer for a thrilling unmasked electric performance. This marks their first show since wrapping up their farewell tour in December 2023. The weekend-long celebration is scheduled to take place from November 14 to 16 at the luxurious Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

In addition to Thayer, his former band, Black ‘n Blue, will also participate, alongside the beloved former frontman of Skid Row, Sebastian Bach, a passionate Kiss superfan. Other musical attractions set to perform include tribute bands such as Mr. Speed and Kiss Nation: The Kiss Tribute Show, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees.

The Kiss Army Storms Vegas event will feature engaging Q&A sessions with members of the band, an insightful panel discussion with the legendary band manager Doc McGhee, and special appearances by the founders of the Kiss Army, Bill Starkey and Jay Evans. Fans can also anticipate a previously announced performance by former Kiss lead guitarist Bruce Kulick, adding to the event’s allure.

Recently, Simmons discussed with UCR the unique appeal of Kiss conventions, which offer a more personal connection between the band and their dedicated fans. He explained, “The Kiss conventions begat the Kiss Kruises. We decided to do that, in essence, to get closer to the fans. Because when you’re up on that stage, whether you’re playing a stadium or arena, there’s all that energy going off the stage, visual and sound and all that. And even though there’s lots of energy coming from the fans up there, it’s not as personal, because there’s a lot of them.”

Furthermore, Simmons made a point of differentiating the Kiss Army Storms Vegas event from a typical Kiss concert. “The fans are taking over the Virgin Hotel, yes. So we’re attending to celebrate in the party,” he stated. “But this isn’t just a Kiss concert; we will engage in Q&A sessions, and of course, we will perform. So it’s a much more informal atmosphere. It’s kind of like a gathering of the tribes. We promised we would never tour again, and we’re not, but it’s a party celebrating our legacy and the fans, and we should be there to celebrate together.”
