New Music from BTS’ J-Hope: ‘Hope On the Stage’ Tour 2025
After completing his mandatory military service in South Korea, BTS’ J-Hope is ready to make a significant impact in the music industry once again. In two exciting posts shared on Thursday night (January 9), the K-pop sensation unveiled the dates for his much-anticipated Hope On the Stage 2025 world tour, while also hinting at the release of “new music” coming in March. This announcement is sure to thrill fans who have eagerly awaited his return to the spotlight.
In his recent teaser, the talented rapper and singer showcased a captivating snippet of a song characterized by a laid-back beat and a soulful groove, complemented by a charmingly sped-up backing vocal. Although the full lyrics remain under wraps for now, fans glimpsed J-Hope enjoying the creative process in a YouTube video titled “Beginning of a New Dream.” In this video, he can be seen recording vocals and relishing the sound of the track during a trip to Los Angeles, where he joyfully snaps his fingers at the end, hinting at the excitement surrounding this new musical journey.
He excitedly announced, “New music on the way 2025.03,” which indicates a planned release for March. This track will be particularly significant as it marks J-Hope’s first new music since his discharge from the army last October. Additionally, it will be his first single since the release of his six-track EP Hope On the Street Vol. 1 in March 2024. This EP featured collaborations with his BTS bandmate Jungkook on the track “I Wonder,” as well as contributions from renowned artists such as Benny Blanco and Nile Rodgers on “Lock/Unlock,” and Le Sserafim’s Huh Yunjin on “I Don’t Know,” showcasing his versatility and artistic growth.
There’s even more to look forward to as J-Hope prepares for his Hope On the Stage world tour. This highly anticipated tour will kick off with a thrilling three-show hometown series at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea, scheduled for February 28, March 1, and March 2. Following these shows, he will bring his talent to the U.S., with performances at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and then continue on to two-night shows in vibrant cities such as Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, Oakland, and Los Angeles. The tour will also extend to Asia with planned performances in the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, China, and Taiwan, ensuring that fans across the region will have the chance to experience his electrifying performances live.
