The cause was particularly meaningful for the Osbourne family, as Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy’s wife and manager, had bravely battled colon cancer since her diagnosis in 2002.

Facing formidable competition, Osbourne was determined to make history. At that time, the record for the loudest outdoor scream was held by a group of Finnish Scouts, who achieved a remarkable 127.2 dBA scream in Siilinjarvi, Finland, on April 16, 2005.
