Exploring Fashion Trends on Day One of New York Fashion Week
The energy at the Adore Me show on the first day was electrifying! A stunning sea of red garments created an atmosphere of boldness and empowerment that was absolutely contagious. While mingling with other attendees, I discovered a delightful variety of brands being worn, including Zara, Eloquii, Amazon, Anthropologie, and some truly remarkable thrift store finds. This eclectic mix provided a much-needed dose of fashion inspiration. It was particularly heartening to see many plus-size fashionistas proudly sporting pieces from Adore Me, a brand known for its inclusive sizing up to 4X.
Unveiling Glamour on Day Two of New York Fashion Week
The following morning, I had the opportunity to preview the latest collection from Jovani, a brand renowned for its exquisite formal gowns. During this event, I spotted the talented celebrity stylist Esther Lamour, who looked absolutely stunning in a custom Versace blazer paired with an elegant black tulle dress from Akira and chic shoes from Zara.
Additionally, I had a wonderful conversation with Jovani?s designer, Julie DuRocher. She graciously provided a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the luxurious fabrics utilized for their plus-size gowns, taking me to a dedicated floor of Jovani Fashion. The gowns were not only breathtaking and fashionable, but they also championed inclusivity in their designs.
Friday?s lifestyle event hosted by The Modern Day Wife was truly enjoyable, particularly the chance to connect with Liz Sloan. She looked radiant in a stunning black and white dress from YOZY, effortlessly styled with a chic Coach bag, fashionable Showitty tights, and comfortable VIVAIA shoes.
Day Three: Celebrating Fashion and Inclusivity at New York Fashion Week
I concluded my New York Fashion Week experience with a spectacular show hosted by MEFEATER Magazine. The fashion showcase was unforgettable, largely due to the standout blue outfit worn by Armiel Chandler, which was nothing short of a showstopper. During our conversation, he shared that some of his current favorite shopping destinations include Eloquii, ASOS, Dia & Co., and Shop Berries.
I also had the pleasure of chatting with Taryn Janae, who was radiating New York Fashion Week vibes. She shared her enthusiasm for SHEIN as a go-to source for her plus-size fashion finds.
