“[My outfit] is Balenciaga, and throughout all these red carpets and public appearances, I’ve aimed to create a look that celebrates my queerness. I deliberately choose styles that defy the typical expectations of femininity often associated with these events. My goal has been to push against those societal norms,” she expressed passionately.

Furthermore, Aunjanue disclosed to People her conscious decision to refrain from wearing dresses. “I have made a commitment to wearing pants exclusively. This choice is a form of resistance against the pressure for women to conform, especially on red carpets, where there’s a tendency for hyper-performance of femininity.
