Travis Kelce Faces Significant Health Challenge Before Super Bowl 2025, Reveals Kansas City Chiefs General Manager
Quinton Aaron remains optimistic despite health struggles.
The Blind Side actor, best known for his portrayal of former NFL offensive lineman Michael Oher in the acclaimed 2009 film, is currently hospitalized after being admitted on February 27 due to a concerning fever and a troubling bloody cough. Despite these alarming symptoms, he chooses to maintain a positive outlook, sharing with TMZ in an interview released on March 4, “I feel optimistic I’ll be back on my feet in no time.”
Since his hospitalization, the 40-year-old actor has undergone thorough evaluations by the medical staff at the Southern California facility. He has indicated that he may be suffering from Type A flu combined with pneumonia, which has resulted in persistent migraine headaches that have lasted several days.
Aaron further detailed that he has been treated with a course of antibiotics and is relieved to report that he is no longer coughing up blood. He expressed his desire to leave the hospital soon, particularly after receiving a peripherally inserted central catheter, which the Mayo Clinic describes as a method for administering medications and antibiotics directly into the bloodstream for effective treatment.
