“At one point, there was a bit of a ruckus going on in the bar,” Bissonnette explained. He recounted that a group of intoxicated golfers were causing trouble, which led to escalating tensions. “They [asked] one guy to leave, and one guy kept getting in the manager’s face and put his hands on him. And that went on probably for about 30, 45 seconds.” This description paints a vivid picture of the scene as it unfolded, highlighting the disruptive behavior of the group.

After witnessing the harassment of the restaurant’s manager, Bissonnette felt compelled to intervene. He stated, “I just grabbed the guy’s arm,” and firmly warned, “Sir, if you continue to harass and assault the staff, we’re gonna have problems.” This act of courage, however, was met with aggression as the group of golfers “started chucking,” according to Bissonnette.

The situation escalated rapidly, as the NHL veteran recalled. “It escalated extremely quickly,” he mentioned, detailing how he engaged in physical confrontations both inside the restaurant and outside in the parking lot. “Got taken down a couple of times. Got boot fked to the head three times.” His account reveals the intensity of the altercation and the extent of the violence that ensued.

Although Bissonnette did not lose consciousness during the fight, he required medical attention afterward. He wanted to reassure his followers that he is physically okay while emphasizing his desire to see the attackers exposed for their reckless behavior.

“Just bad dudes. Way too drunk, and I don’t know what else they had in their system,” Bissonnette elaborated, expressing his frustration. “But, yeah, I’m very, very angry about these guys and want their names out there and want them to pay the piper.” His insistence on accountability highlights the seriousness of the incident and the need for responsible behavior in public settings.

Additionally, Barstool’s owner, Dave Portnoy, shared the mugshots as well, tweeting that the assailants “picked the wrong guy” to fight, underscoring the gravity of their actions.

Identifying the Individuals Involved in the Scottsdale Attack on Bissonnette

Reports from Fox10 Phoenix have revealed the identities of the six men who attacked Bissonnette: Danny Bradley, John G. Carroll, William J. Carroll, Sean Daley, Edward Jennings, and Henry Mesker. All six were arrested following the incident, with five facing misdemeanor charges. Notably, one individual among them is facing a felony charge, indicating the severity of their actions during the altercation.

The Underlying Reasons Behind the Assault on Paul Bissonnette

According to Bissonnette, the group of intoxicated golfers initiated the assault because they were frustrated over their inability to procure another cocktail, as he claimed in his X video.
