So, let?s delve into the essential practice of cultivating self-love, a vital aspect of our well-being that often gets overlooked during this season of affection.

Embracing self-love has been one of my most significant challenges, and I want to share my journey openly. For a long time, I battled with self-doubt, questioning my confidence, appearance, aspirations, and everything in between. I vividly remember the first time someone called me ?fat.? It happened during recess in kindergarten when a boy, a year older than me, told me I couldn?t join the game because of my size. Nevertheless, over the past three years, I have made significant strides towards self-acceptance, and I want to share some invaluable tips that have helped me along the way. I have realized that my lack of self-love stemmed from the tendency to give my affection and energy to others without reserving any for myself by the end of the day. I noticed that during the final stages of my undergraduate studies, as stress mounted, I began neglecting my appearance. This included everything from my outfits to my hair and makeup. Taking just a few extra minutes in the morning to enhance my appearance can significantly impact how I feel throughout the day. I have a passion for what many consider to be ?full glam,? and when I skip my usual makeup routine, I can feel a noticeable dip in my confidence levels.
