Shogun and Baby Reindeer win big, but The Bear loses Best Comedy Series to Hacks
Only eight months after the final Emmy ceremony (which was delayed due to the strikes), the Primetime Emmy Awards are again, though there have been some large surprises in retailer. Everyone (myself included) anticipated The Bear to personal each class it was nominated in. While it did effectively, profitable many large classes together with Best Actor in a Comedy Series, Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress, it misplaced Best Comedy Series (and actress) to Hacks.
Netflix’s controversial restricted sequence Baby Reindeer additionally cleaned up, nabbing awards for star and creator Richard Gadd plus co-star Jessica Gunning. But, FX was the night’s large winner, with their epic sequence, Shogun, dominating the drama classes, with the good Hiroyuki Sanada profitable the prize for Best Actor, and Anna Sawai taking Best Actress, alongside the present’s Best Drama win. It’s superb to see how Shogun’s develop into an absolute phenomenon, with the present not too long ago being reconfigured from a restricted sequence to an ongoing drama (take a look at our preview of Season 2 right here).
