Gunn shared a personal anecdote about Krypto, revealing that the character is inspired by his new dog, Ozu, whom he rescued after losing his previous pet. Inside, robotic assistants lift Superman and bring him to safety, where he expresses his gratitude. The robots reply, “There is no need to thank us as we will not understand,” showcasing their unique perspective. They then proceed to assess his condition in a medical facility, exposing him to the rejuvenating rays of sunlight. In a dramatic moment, Superman screams as the life-giving power of the yellow sun begins to heal his injuries.
