The film, which premiered on Christmas, chronicles Shields’ life story as a young female boxer in Flint, Michigan. “Trauma, trauma, trauma. Watching my biopic was incredibly triggering for me the first time,” Claressa revealed, shedding light on the emotional toll of revisiting her past.

Although Shields already has a film that chronicles her life, she emphasizes that her journey is far from over. She has a major boxing match scheduled for February 2 in her hometown, where she aims to make even more history.
