The official trailer for the second season of the Goosebumps anthology sequence, The Vanishing, has arrived simply in time for Halloween.

If Goosebumps goes to have a revival, we’re all in for it. So many of us grew up on R.L. Stine’s spooky spines, accumulating haunted masks and staying out of the basement. The live-action films might have run their course, however the sequence is prospering on the small display. Jayden Bartels performs Cece, whereas Sam McCarthy is Devin. Meanwhile, Alex, CJ and Frankie are performed by Francesca Noel, Elijah M. Cooper and Galilea La Salvia, respectively. Most of these will not be family names, however David Schwimmer’s presence will convey a bit of star energy (and perhaps some willingness to watch from mother and father), simply as Jack Black did for the 2015 Goosebumps film and Justin Long’s familiarity did for season one.

While we dug the first season of Goosebumps sufficient to give it a 7/10 evaluation, the trailer for The Vanishing does look loads higher in quite a few features.
