Travis Scott’s ‘Days Before Rodeo’ Coming To Streaming With New Songs
Travis Scott‘s Days Before Rodeo mixtape is finally being brought to streaming platforms, complete with added bonus songs.
The Cactus Jack rapper has announced that the fan-favorite project, originally released for free in 2014, will be made commercially available for the first time on August 23 to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Alongside throwback footage of him working on the mixtape with the likes of Metro Boomin and Young Thug, Scott wrote on Instagram: “DAYS BEFORE RODEO 10yr ANNIVERSARY BEING CELEBRATED BY FINALLLY RE-RELEASING EVERYWHERE AUGUST 23RD AND MAYBE COUPLE DBR SONGS FROM THAT ERA FROM THE VAULT Travisscott.com more info and shizzzz shsbsbsbsb IM FCKING JUMPING THRU WALLS AHHHH.”
In addition to streaming, digital deluxe editions of Days Before Rodeo featuring “unreleased DBR era bonus tracks” are available to pre-order on Scott’s web site for $4.99.
The undertaking can also be being offered on vinyl and as a part of numerous merch bundles.
The follow-up to 2013’s Owl Pharaoh, Days Before Rodeo was Travis Scott’s second mixtape after signing with T.I.‘s Grand Hustle.
Released to critical acclaim, the mixtape featured appearances from Big Sean, Migos, Rich Homie Quan, Peewee Longway and British rock band The 1975, as well as collaborations with Metro and Thugger.
It spawned several fan-favorite tracks including “Mamacita,” “Skyfall” and “Drugs You Should Try It.”
This is the rare bit of positive news from Travis Scott after a tumultuous summer that has seen him get into trouble with the law both at home in the U.S. and overseas in Paris.

The 33-year-old was arrested in Miami in June for disorderly intoxication and trespassing, with bodycam footage showing him arguing with police officers after they found him attempting to retrieve belongings from a yacht in the early hours of the morning.
He was then arrested in Paris earlier this month after he got into a fight with his bodyguard in the lobby of a luxury hotel.
In the fray, one of the hotel’s safety guards was allegedly attacked whereas making an attempt to interrupt up the struggle.
French prosecutors mentioned in a press release: “I can confirm that on August 9, 2024, police officers were called to the George V hotel and arrested the rapper nicknamed Travis Scott for assaulting a security guard.
“The security guard had intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard. The Paris public prosecutor’s office has referred the case to the 1st district of the judicial police.”
It was later confirmed that Scott wouldn’t face prices over the incident and was free to depart the nation.
