Hailing from Rochester, New York, Undeath generated on the spot buzz with Lesions of a Different Kind, their 2020 debut that featured The Black Dahlia Murder’s Trevor Strnad on the title monitor.
Keen on evolving their fashion, 2022’s It’s Time…To Rise From the Grave (which Loudwire topped Death Metal Album of the Year) discovered some extra conventional steel influences come to the forefront. And now, with their third file, More Insane, Undeath are striving for even slicker songwriting. It’s a little bit of a rarity in previous school-styled dying steel and refreshing to listen to songcraft being prioritized over technical peacocking.
