It has been two years since we learned that director Steven C. Miller, known for his work on Silent Night, was gearing up to produce a captivating werewolf horror film initially titled Year 2. On December 6th, the film was released widely across theaters in the United States under the new title Werewolves. Additionally, during the holiday season, it became available on VOD platforms, allowing fans to rent it for $19.99 or purchase it for $24.99 on Amazon, making it accessible for home viewing.

Featuring Frank Grillo, recognizable from the Purge and Captain America franchises, Werewolves unfolds a gripping narrative where a supermoon event activates a dormant gene in every human worldwide, transforming anyone exposed to the moonlight into a werewolf for a single night. This chaotic event resulted in the tragic loss of nearly a billion lives. Now, as the Supermoon reappears a year later, the tension escalates.

The talented cast alongside Grillo includes Katrina Law from NCIS, Ilfenesh Hadera from Godfather Of Harlem, James Michael Cummings of City On The Hill, and renowned actor Lou Diamond Phillips from Young Guns.
