Here’s Who Made XXL’s Freshman List For 2024
On Monday, June 24, the outlet unveiled its annual listing, which was finalized with 11 rappers. The outlet notes that it had reportedly met with 52 contenders in complete. This reportedly included the likes of Atlanta-bred rapper Anycia, Memphis-bred rapper Gloss Up, New York City-bred rapper Sha Ek, and plenty of extra.
However, the outlet reportedly finalized their listing by closely contemplating “discussions” in regards to the contenders’ music, listening to their unreleased songs, discussing touring plans, and “learning more about their goals.”
In the tip, rappers BigXThaPlug, That Mexican OT, Lay Bankz, BossMan Dlow, Rich Amiri, ScarLip, Hunxho, 4batz, Maiya The Don, Cash Cobain, Skilla Baby.

Nicki Minaj topped the listing, whereas Sexyy Red and Megan Thee Stallion have been ranked second and third, respectively. Additionally, the listing additionally included Doja Cat, Ice Spice, Latto, and others.
Furthermore, social media customers appeared lower than impressed with the outlet’s listing and let or not it’s identified.
