Yung Miami Honors Late Baby Daddy Prior To Son’s 11th Birthday
Yung Miami is missing her son’s father, Jai Wiggins, amid the 4-year anniversary of his passing.
The City Girls rapper took to X on Wednesday (June 12) to reflect ahead of their son’s 11th birthday, as Wiggins’ murder occurred just two weeks prior to the boy turned seven.
“It’s been 4 yrs since my bd passed he died 2 weeks before my son 7th birthday,” she wrote with a heartbreak emoji. “my son turning 11 in 2 weeks [teary eyed emoji] ahhhhh.” In a second tweet, she added: “I’m trying not to cry today but the rain is not making it no better [heartbreak and dove emojis]”
Wiggins passed in 2020 soon after reportedly becoming involved a shooting.

Earlier this month, Yung Miami seemingly confirmed that the days of the City Girls are more than.
Relations among Miami and her fellow City Girl JT have been up and down in current months, but factors now look to have come to a far more permanent finish.
Speaking to Complex, the rapper addressed the poor industrial reception of the duo’s final album, RAW, and how she and JT drifted apart.
“I think when the City Girls album dropped and it didn’t do too well and we was just like trying to do our press run. You know, the whole rollout of the album was just so bad because we were just in two different spaces,” she mentioned.
“We’re older now and she was doing her own thing on the West Coast, I’m in Miami doing my own thing. And I felt like naturally, when she’s doing her own thing, it just works for her. And when I’m doing my own thing, it works for me.
“But when we get together as a group, it just wasn’t connecting, it just wasn’t working no more. I think we were both at a point where it was just like, we should probably just do our own shit. That was the point for me.”
The duo previously blamed poor management for RAW underperforming soon after the album sold just 10,000 units in 1st week, landing at No. 117 on the Billboard 200.
Comparatively, the City Girls’ earlier work, 2020’s City on Lock, reached No. 30 on the chart, powered by the singles “Jobs” and “Pussy Talk” featuring Doja Cat.
Since the release of RAW in October 2023, Yung Miami and JT have each place out solo material when also receiving into a short spat on social media, sparked by allegations of “sneak dissing.”
